I started working out when I was 13 years old to get in better shape for wrestling. Once I started wrestling in high school, I realized I was out of shape and had a lot to learn and improve on. I then began learning about nutrition and lost about 30 pounds on my own before hiring a personal trainer and nutritionist going into my senior year of high school. This not only drastically improved my strength and performance, but my physique as well, leading me to compete in bodybuilding for 7 years and begin helping others with their goals.
While finishing up my degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Healthcare Delivery at Roanoke College, I began mentoring with Austin Stout in 2016. This allowed me to develop the tools needed to eventually start working with IMH in August of 2023.
Over the years, I have also completed continuing education with Dave O’Brien, Jake Doleschal, Jeffrey Su (First Call Out Fitness) Katie Morra (Gut Honest Truth Academy), Luke Leaman (Muscle Nerds), Jason Colley (Personal Trainer University), Stephane Cazeault (Kilo Strength), and many other great educators.
The clients I work with are competitive bodybuilders, individuals struggling with functional health issues, and lifestyle clients that want to improve their body composition and quality of life. I especially enjoy helping clients who are motivated to achieve their health and fitness goals. My hope for clients is to maximize their progress by using a Wholistic Approach which involves working on the mind, body, and spirit, so they can continue to achieve and sustain their results for years to come.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Valerie, and our 3 cats, Harley, Quinn, and Ivy. I also like cooking, Bible study, and going to professional wrestling events.

I have been a personal trainer since May 2015, after studying Health and Human Kinetics with a concentration in Exercise Science at Ohio Wesleyan University. My love and appreciation for movement began when I was young, gaining physical skills in many sports, especially through dance.

I believe that feeling strong and confident is for everybody. * quality of life* I enjoy teaching exercise to individuals, encouraging people, and preparing them for the activities they love. My approach to training begins with an assessment, then building a foundation and progressing training according to goals.
My husband, Trey, and I began personal training clients in our gym in July 2022.
When I am not training, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our cats, Harley, Quinn, and Ivy. I like walking nature trails, crafting, meeting new people, and enjoying community at church and Bible study.
